Connect with Diverse and highlight your mission, programs, employment opportunities, and initiatives supporting inclusive and equitable campuses!
This February 6, Diverse magazine proudly celebrates Black History Month, honoring African Americans' rich legacy and significant contributions throughout history and higher education. Join us as we explore inspiring stories of trailblazers in various fields—from civil rights leaders to innovative artists—who have shaped our education, culture, and society.

In addition, we aim to highlight the universal impact of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that STEM jobs will be among the fastest-growing and most profitable careers in the 2020s.

By recognizing the past while inspiring a future rooted in inclusivity for all, let's commemorate this month for its resilience, creativity, and ongoing impact on the higher education community, encouraging progress, reflection, and dialogue.
Diverse covers critical news relating to disparities in higher education, daily on its website and 13 print and digital magazine editions annually.

"I have been an avid reader of Diverse: Issues In Higher Education for over 26 years dating back to my days as a doctoral student when it was called Black Issues in Higher Education. Every educational issue involving race that I have been passionate about has always been thoughtfully addressed in this publication. What I especially appreciate about Diverse is its unapologetic and unequivocal dedication to recognizing the importance of the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education for everyone, especially minoritized populations. No other publication dedicated to higher education represents these values more than Diverse. Thank you Diverse! During this time of anti-DEI sentiment, Diverse is needed now more than ever! ”

"Diverse: Issues In Higher Education is a high-quality publication that rivals the Chronicle of Higher Education, Inside Higher Education, and others. It is the most insightful publication addressing diverse, equity, and inclusion issues and I consider it a crucial resource. At Coppin State University, we appreciate how Diverse not only illuminates the challenges faced by underrepresented groups, but also celebrates innovative solutions and inspiring success stories from institutions nationwide. Its commitment to amplifying diverse voices is imperative for fostering genuine dialogue and understanding in higher education."
